Well we have got our hands on the new logo for H20-MOTO. We can’t and won’t say where it came from but that doesn’t really matter. What matters most is the NEW video that we also got a hold of. And no, it wasn’t leaked *Wink* from Abstractlines Russo either. Although, he has provided some really nice information in the past for us. JO'B Warming Up Bali-Style
working on Moto stunts and so on after his scooter episodes in Bali. Well it turns out that the message on his phone was NOT from a Twitter Babbler but instead it was a text from Samir Shoozien of the new XSA surfing league. It was the $1 million offer that Samir made to Jamie to come surf in the XSA. (I think JO’B hit his head and told Samir no!!!)
Well it turns out that there is more behind these ‘rumors’. When I asked JO’B why would he turn down $1mil, he said “Boring! Moto is where it’s at!” I was speechless. Here is arguably one of the greatest surfers around, who basically just walks away from the ASP Tour. Goes out and proves that you can be a professional surfer without ‘The Tour’. And what the hell has Chas Smith said or done about this. That man can keep a secret! We’ve also called Mel Watts over at MeSurf to follow up on some Jamie O’Brien rumors. Mel is also known in the Aussie Goddessworld as the JO’B expert. No Luck. She wasn’t talking either. This man is as mysterious as Bunker Spreckels during his week long sex binges! Something in the Pipe water maybe?
So enter H20-MOTO, which is a new sport that combines Moto-X with Water. These guys will jump ramps and ski Moto style across lakes and ponds for style points. Think: Combining RedBull’s X-Fighters with Pro Surfing…. The league will consist of Moto & Water athletes. At this time, JO’B's is the only name that has surfaced. We hear that he has financed half of the initial start-up too. Jamie is working with a couple of other people but we can’t release that information yet. They have worked with a handful of other financial backers as well as a few corporate sponsors. We are not saying who on the corporate sponsors side yet but….. it’s big!
And you remember Samir Shoozien blowing up over JO’B turning him down? Well, we have now found out that Samir has made an offer to purchase the H20-MOTO organization for a little over $41 million. Samir said “I will get that fucker under contract no matter what! If I have to buy Hawaii, I will…. I’m done fucking around with Mr. Pipeline! I have more money than your God does!”
So now we present the video compilation of Pro Free Surfer Jamie O’Brien testing and training at various lakes around the country. He works on jumps as well as Moto-Skiing tricks. We are trying to get more information as well as an in depth interview with JO’B as soon as possible. We understand that he is out trying to complete a movie while in Japan. Not sure how much work he will get done while Russo is with him. We kid! Russo has been rated as a DemonFactory Top 5 Surf Photographer in the World. If only he would get off of some of his work and EMAIL THEM TO US we would be great.
